Ghouls and Garlic

Learn about all about garlic, garlic lore and local folklore at E.A.T. South's October workshop. Halloween is the time to plant your garlic, and the pungent crop is associated with protection against spirits as well as vampires. We'll learn about garlic in the garden, plant some, taste some, and our neighbors at NewSouth Books will bring us ghostly tales collected by folklorist Katherine Tucker Windham from Montgomery and beyond. Bring kids, bring neighbors, and celebrate the season with us! Sponsored by Baptist Health.
