Farm in the City: Tool Talk for All

Farm in the City 2017 offers skills and information you need to grow food in your backyard, driveway, or balcony. For our first workshop of the year, we'll dust off our garden tools for a hands-on workshop on tool maintenance and sharpening (and we'll probably drink hot cider, too). Learn how to sharpen your hoe, keep rust at bay, and stop your pitchfork handle from splitting. Find out what an hori hori looks like. Bring your own tools or practice on ours. Great for middle schoolers and up.
