"Paint Us Bugs & Butterflies" Plus More
Dear friends,
We are calling for children’s drawings and paintings of insects to convert into wheat paste posters and paste on our caboose at the farm.
Join us in the celebration of insects and bring awareness to the need to respect all insects and their role in our ecosystem.
Paint Us Bugs and Butterflies Mural Project
Step 1: Head outside on a bug hunt to find all and any insects and maybe take a couple photos
Step 2: Gather drawing and/or painting supplies and you bug photos, any insect books or insect images from the internet
Step 3: Begin to sketch a few different bugs or butterflies.
step 4: Consider adding color to your insect drawing by painting or coloring with colored pencils or crayons
step 5: Consider adding leaves or other parts of the insects’s natural environment to your drawing/painting
step 6: When complete, submit your artwork by taking a good photo and sending to goodfoodday@eatsouth.org or messaging us your artwork on facebook. If you prefer, you can drop off your artwork at the farm. Message us on facebook or call us 334-422-9331.

Submit as many drawings/paintings as you like! We need to fill our wall with insects!
