Weeds, Pests & Disease - Urban Farm & Garden Series

  • Goodwyn Community Center 205 Perry Hill Rd Montgomery United States (map)

Farm your yard (or driveway or patio) with E.A.T. South’s series of four workshops to get you growing in the city. The workshops are Thursday evenings, 5-6:50 in the basement classroom of Goodwyn Community Center. All programs are free, but registration is required.

Get your free ticket here.

Each week, we’ll cover a different topic to help you start and grow your best garden ever. Along with inspiration and a lot of practical gardening advice, you’ll leave the classes with information and resources that will support your garden for years to come. Come for the whole series and share your garden journey with the class.

Now that you've planted it, this workshop will cover keeping the garden going. We'll talk about the importance of healthy soil to healthy plants, how to encourage natural predators in the garden (and what they are), and ways to manage weeds and disease without poisoning you, your family, or the water and soil.

This is the third workshop in E.A.T. South's Urban Farm & Garden Series. Join us for one workshop or the whole series.

Tickets are free. Donations are appreciated.
