Bringing in the Harvest (and water) - Urban Farm & Garden Series

  • Goodwyn Community Center 205 Perry Hill Rd Montgomery United States (map)

Farm your yard (or driveway or patio) with E.A.T. South’s series of four workshops to get you growing in the city. The workshops are Thursday evenings, 5-6:50 in the basement classroom of Goodwyn Community Center. All programs are free, but registration is required.

Get your free ticket here.

Each week, we’ll cover a different topic to help you start and grow your best garden ever. Along with inspiration and a lot of practical gardening advice, you’ll leave the classes with information and resources that will support your garden for years to come. Come for the whole series and share your garden journey with the class.

This workshop will cover water in the garden - how to conserve water, when to water - along with how and when to harvest your vegetables so that they taste their best and stay fresh longer. We'll also talk about food safety and safe food handling in the garden.

We'll connect you with resources for irrigation supplies and touch on other ways to save water and grow your best garden ever.

This is the last workshop in our Urban Farm & Gardening Series. Our goal with this series is to give you the resources, information, and confidence to grow your best garden ever.

Tickets are free. Donations are appreciated.
